Summit City Autism Group
A staple of the Autism community since 2001, the Summit City Autism Group has been creating connections, friendships, and opportunities for individuals and families for more than two decades.
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, the group met monthly at Lutheran Hospital. Now in our fifth year of meeting at Partners in Autism, we continue to provide a welcoming space where individuals can come together, share experiences, build friendships, and feel a true sense of belonging.
At Summit City Autism Group, we believe everyone deserves a place where they are accepted, valued, and empowered to reach their full potential. Our goal is more than simply bringing people together—we strive to create meaningful connections and lasting friendships while giving members opportunities to participate, grow, and make a difference in their community.
For more than 25 years, Summit City Autism Group has been a place where people can come as they are, be themselves, and know they belong.

A welcoming space for discussion, peer support, guest speakers, and sharing experiences.
Multiple Social Outings Each Month
Fun, low-pressure opportunities to build friendships through activities like bowling, mini golf, movies, festivals, game nights, and community events.
Personal Growth & Leadership
Helping members build confidence, independence, and leadership skills through volunteer opportunities, community service, workshops, advocacy, mentoring, and leadership roles within the group.
